Kauaʻi’s Bounty
The Farm at Hōkūala harnesses land reclaimed from a once-overgrown golf course to supply seasonal, fresh-picked ingredients to Timbers Kaua‘i Owners and guests, as well as Hualani’s restaurant and bar. Guests are invited to take part in weekly tours of the fruit orchard and organic vegetable garden to promote conservation and serve as the cornerstone of our Kaiaulu (community), making our roots here even stronger.
Beaches & Lagoons
From the gentle waters of Kalapakī Bay to the private lagoons of Hōkūala, life on Kauaʻi is naturally connected to the water. Owners and guests can learn to surf, paddleboard along the shoreline, or explore miles of tranquil turquoise waterways by kayak. With calm conditions, scenic surroundings, and easy access from the resort, these experiences offer an effortless way to enjoy the island’s natural beauty.
Tennis & Pickleball
Set among lush tropical landscaping, the Courts at Hōkūala offer a refined setting for fitness, recreation, and friendly competition. Owners and guests can enjoy two tennis courts and three pickleball courts, with equipment available for play and convenient app reservation access. Designed for all skill levels, the facility makes it easy to stay active while enjoying the relaxed spirit of island living.
The Trails at Hōkūala
Blessed with a warm, tropical climate and some of the most beautiful natural landscapes on earth, Kauaʻi is an island paradise that begs to be explored. And with more than 13 miles of leisure paths and nature trails meandering through our home on the Garden Isle, you’re welcome to do just that. Bike, hike, or jog your way past the tranquil lagoons, swaying palms, and breathtaking coastal vistas of our 450–acre resort wonderland, from the Ocean Course to the Farm at Hōkūala.
A Sanctuary for Wildlife
At 450 sprawling acres of lush hills, tranquil lagoons, and bountiful fruit orchards, Hōkūala isn’t just a paradise for people. Home to five species of endangered waterbirds, as well as the pueo (Hawaiian short-eared owl) and 15-20 other varieties, the Hōkūala ʻohana extends to the many plants, animals, birds, and insects who call this land their home.
