Play Along the Pacific

The Ocean Course at Hokuala has earned its place as one of the most renowned golf destinations in the Pacific. But golf here isn’t only of the eighteen hole variety … there’s a three hole short course where shoes are optional and a world class performance center to polish your game.

Inspired by the Polynesian culture centered on the balance and wisdom of nature, the Spa at Timbers Kauai weaves ancient healing traditions with the bounty of island botanicals to inspire “lokahi”, harmony of body and spirit. The Garden Isle is abundant with “Canoe Plants,” plants originally brought to Hawaii by the early Polynesians traveling by canoe. Our spa incorporates these precious ingredients to create thoughtfully crafted spa treatments designed to restore and support balance. Each spa experience is unique and tailored to our guests.

The food and beverage program at Hokuala is purely driven and influenced by the relationship between farmer and their harvest, rancher and their cattle and fisherman and their catch. Our two restaurants - Hualani’s Restaurant and Nalu’s embrace approachable, thoughtful and creative cuisine. Hualani’s Restaurant features a bold approach to seasonal farm-to-table Hawaiian dishes for breakfast and dinner, with poolside grab-and-go Nalu’s offering light salads, hot and cold sandwiches and wraps along with an array of snacks to enjoy. Sip well-balanced craft cocktails that complement our kitchen’s seasonal fare. All of which showcase ingredients sourced daily from The Farm at Hokuala, an organic community farm dedicated to agri-education and managed by Kauai local farmer Cody Meyer. Hualani's is open from 11-3pm for lunch, and Dinner from 5:30pm. Farm to table menu changes often.

Each day here promises experiences you’ve only dreamed about and the creation of a meaningful lifelong connection to the moana (ocean).
