It All Begins on the Water pure hawaii
Scampering with crabs around a tide pool at sunrise. Jumping through a hundred foot waterfall, swimming alongside a giant turtle. Counting whales by day and shooting stars by night. This is the promise of Kauai, brought up close and personal at Hokuala.
MSN Travel called it one of the world’s most beautiful courses. No wonder, as the continuous one half mile stretch of oceanfront golf is the longest in Hawaii, and always will be. The Ocean Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature, winds its way through mango and guava trees to the edge of the Pacific – and a legendary stretch called Amen Corner.
OCEAN AND BEACH
Grab the kids, a beach bag and wander over to Kalapaki Bay where paddle boarders, kayakers and snorkelers relish the tranquil waters, long beach and waterfront dining. A tide pool discovery at sunrise, an afternoon picnic, recounting the day at sunset, the intimate cove at Running Waters Beach is that perfect place to connect with family and friends.
Getting around has never been this much fun – shaded bike paths crisscross the resort, taking riders across graceful arching bridges and all along the edges of the inland waterway. And regardless of whether your choice is to run, jog or bike, the stunning ocean-side trail rings the resort all the way to the Historic Ninini Point Lighthouse.
FROM COURSE TO COURTS
Tennis is a short stroll or bike ride away. At Hokuala, it’s more than pristine courts and a heavenly setting that will invigorate the game you love
THE INLAND WATERWAY
As the resort is completed, so too will be the water taxi service – charming picnic boats for excursions to shopping, dining and even golf, where we guarantee smooth sailing on Hokuala’s inland waterway. Of course, we’ll provide more conventional four-wheel transportation around the resort and to the airport.
